This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts taught in eighth grade. This class is the second of the series. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this course.

Day 1: Finding Slope 
Day 2: Graphing Lines
Day 3: Writing Linear Equations
Day 4: Standard Form 
Day 5: Horizontal, Vertical, Parallel and Perpendicular Lines
Day 6: Solving Systems of Equations by Graphing
Day 7: Solving Systems of Equations by Substitution
Day 8: Solving Systems of Equations by Elimination

This class follows a "flipped" classroom model, where interactive videos introducing the concepts that will be covered in the next class meeting will be sent ahead of time. These video activities are optional, but are a good way to review concepts before the class meeting so that more of the meeting time can be spent practicing the concepts. After each live class meeting, an optional practice activity covering the previous lessons' topics will be send in order to provide more opportunities for independent practice.
