This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts taught in seventh grade math. The focus of this class is percent. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this course. •Day One: Percent of a Number and Solving Percent Equations •Day Two: Sales Tax, Tips, and Commissions •Day Three: Percent of Change •Day Four: Mark-Ups and Discounts •Day Five: Simple Interest Please note that this is a multi-day class with a set schedule. Hello! I have been teaching and working in the public school setting for the past nineteen years, and tutoring privately for the past ten years. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade in math, reading, writing mechanics, American History, and beginning Spanish. I especially enjoy working with students in small groups or individually, and developed skills as an online educator when schools had to close for the pandemic.
