Welcome to my full-curriculum 7th Grade class! We will work hard all year to build math skills, confidence and growth mindsets.

↔️ FLIPPED CLASS ↔️ 

This class follows a “flipped model.”  Students watch my video lessons the day before our class to get an introduction to the new topic, try it out, and gather questions.  They can pause, rewind, and rewatch as needed. The following day in class we will practice the concept with more example problems, independent practice, discussion, activities and games; all with me there to support them as they work. It’s like they have me with them 4 days a week even though we only meet 2 days!

📌 REQUIRED SKILLS 📌 

Students should have successfully completed 6th grade math and have a strong command of multiplication/division facts, long division and fraction operations.  If they need review of these, I offer a 6 week class to review them.  Message me for details. 


📢 COURSE FLEXIBILITY 📢 

You can choose to pay for this class weekly for added flexibility.  This will allow you to give the class a try and make sure it is a good fit for your learner without committing to the entire year with a full payment. Learners can join the class at any time.  If you are concerned about joining the class after the August start date please reach out to me and we can discuss how to make sure your learner is up to speed when joining the class.

📄 I provide printable worksheets for each lesson with plenty of practice problems.  Answer keys with fully worked out solutions are also provided.

📓 I send monthly parent newsletters to share important announcements along with insight into what we are learning in class.

📝 I offer optional assessments at the end of each unit for learners to check their understanding.

👩‍🏫 I provide personalized and detailed feedback on each learner's unit assessments.

💡 I am available by request for my learners to drop in for extra help or review.

🎥 Recordings of each class sessions will be available for review or in case you miss a class.
