A "Bedrock" compatible device (Android, iOS, FireOS, Windows 10, Gear VR, Fire TV, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PSVR) is needed to join awesome challenges and projects led by the teacher, "Mister Mark" a former banker and investment advisor who uses Minecraft to teach children about how the world works, through various projects in real-time immersive live "gameplay". For this class, students work in a Minecraft "Realm" called "MisterMarkTV" which after the class is accessible 24/7 for them to continue to work and build. This class is devoted to the specific topic of building a city. In this class, students will learn city planning, community building, and the concept of "zoning". Students will be directed to first build a house and all the essentials to get established in a "survival" mode world. Then the maintenance and planning of streets will be addressed. Development of a community through cooperation with other students in a live setting. The realm has "zoning" or building rules which students are encouraged to follow. Issues of respecting others' Minecraft creations, properties, and projects are also reinforced by the teacher/moderator who interacts through conversations and discussions with the students during gameplay.
