Hello👋and thank you for your interest in this 5th grade math review class!

Does your learner need to refine their math skills from last school year? 

Or do you want your learner to keep the learning going this summer so that they feel fresh and confident for the new school year?

In this ongoing, weekly class, we will be reviewing 5th grade math skills through fun interactive activities and games with a fun animal theme.  

Your learner will be begging to come back each week!

In my experience, making learning fun through games is one of the best ways to increase engagement while practicing and refining math skills.  

*EACH CLASS IS INDEPENDENT OF EACH OTHER AND STUDENTS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THIS ONGOING CLASS AT ANY TIME. 👍

Class Outline:
1. Introductions, getting to know each other, class rules 
2. Skill review through an interactive lesson
3. Review Game (Kahoot or Gimkit)

The following topics will be covered:
Week of 6/17: Place Value, Comparing, Rounding Decimals, Adding, and Subtracting Decimals 
Week of 6/24: Multi-Digit Multiplication with Whole Numbers and Decimals
Week of 7/1: Multi-Digit Division with Whole Numbers and Decimals
Week of 7/8 : Adding & Subtracting Fractions with Unlike Denominators
Week of 7/15: Multiplying Fractions 
Week of 7/22: Dividing Fractions
Week of 7/29: Volume of Rectangular Prisms
Week of 8/5: Coordinate Plane
Week if 8/12: Exponents and Order of Operations
