In this class, learners will be given guided practice problems to multiply fractions, whole numbers, and mixed numbers. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using visuals and cross cancellation will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a good knowledge of multiplication facts, and be familiar with how to convert between mixed numbers and improper fractions before attending this class. Please schedule carefully, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.
