Welcome to 4th of July in ASL for kids! Students will learn the Pledge of Allegiance, how to sign "Happy 4th of July", and many related signs such as fireworks, BBQ's, picnics, family, friends, and more! I will begin class by teaching the children how to introduce themselves in sign language; they will each be taught how to spell their names in ASL individually. Next we will begin our exciting and interactive lesson gearing up for the 4th of July! At the end of class, each child will have a chance to share with the entire class what their favorite part of the holiday by using their newly learned signs! The class will be lively and fun, keeping children engaged while learning throughout the entire lesson!! This course is an excellent way to meet new friends from around the world, learn some basic sign language, and engage in team work. No previous knowledge of sign language is required.
