This class will cover everything third grade, such as, Reading and Language Arts Science. My goal is to ensure that learning is fun and successful to every learner enrolled. We will have learning their music, dancing, and chanting. 

This class is also a great opportunity for homeschoolers to connect with other students and make friends, in a very positive environment. Upon enrolling into this class please ensure that your learner has completed second grade or is in second grade advance, this class is designed for those in the third grade. 

Students will have access to Lalilo as learning interventions. Lalilo focuses on essential literacy skills like reading, words families, and letter sounds recognition. Lalilo is web-based and easy to set up, and can be accessed through most devices. Teachers can assign specific lessons based on students needs. Once students get going, Lalilo offers consistent feedback and reinforcement to help them work away at their own pace.

Each class will be a new lesson based on the common core standards. Our class will have the following to ensure that all students are learning: games, lectures, videos, interactive activities, and group work. As a third grade teacher I understand important it is for students to have many hands on activities to help with learning. I also understand that not every student learns the same exact way. 

All class materials will be provided to students through the Outschool platform and Google Classroom. 

We will read reading materials during our class visits. All reading materials will be on-grade level.

Reading and Writing will cover the following:
-Phonics
- Reading
-Vocabulary  
- Spelling (each week students will receive a new set of words)
- Writing
- Grammar and punctuation
- Literature
- Poetry 
 
At the beginning of each class students will be given the opportunity to share the journal topic which will be written in a journal. We will then move on to our reading topic of the day. Every class will end with a positive affirmation. 

This class will end on June 24th for our summer break. We will begin again July 7th, 2022.
