Tutoría de matemáticas de 3.er grado a 6.º grado

This class will focus on elementary math skills. Examples are operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and Division) involving positive or negative whole numbers, decimals, fractions, or percentages. The skills will be applied to expressions, equations, and real world problems. 

At the beginning of the meeting I will introduce myself and ask what the student feels they need to work on, if the student doesn't have a specific set of things we will work on the skills for the grade that they will be in this fall (approx. 5 minutes). Student will then play a math game for their grade level (approx. 5 minutes).  
After the math game students will join Nearpod where I will use the report from math game to focus on the skills that the student had trouble with. I will model solving problems from math game and then walk them through a similar problem. Students will be able to ask questions at any point in the lesson.  When modeling I will use one method to solve but will offer other methods to solve in the event that the student appears to struggle with the first method. At the very end students will do an informal assessment using either desmos or Gimkit depending on what skills need to be assessed.
