(2 veces por semana) Hora de círculo para preescolar/preescolar: abecedario, calendario, conteo, música y más

During this ongoing class, your child will meet with the teacher and other students to discuss their colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and much more! Teaching will be teacher directed but there will be lots of opportunity for sharing from your little learner. 
Schedule will be similar to the following:

1.  Greeting/How are you? Students will  be greeted by name and get a chance to answer the questions of the day.

2. We will sing the days of the week song (class 1) and the months of the year song (class 2) every week. We will talk about what day or month it is. 

3. Color Activity: Students will take turns answering questions such as "what color is a strawberry, what color is a basketball, what color is a lemon, what color starts with G etc" to help build the rainbow.

4. Show and Share: Each student will get the opportunity to show and talk about an item that goes along with out color of the week.

5.  Shape and counting activity: Students will learn a new shape each week. We will talk about the color(s) of the shape and count how many we see.

6. Literacy Activity: We will work on identifying our letter of the day. We will then sing the ABC song as a group and find out letter! We will go over the letter and letter sound and practice identifying things that start with the letter of the day. We will listen / sing a song that goes along with the specific letter.

Students are strongly encouraged to participate in class discussion and will be asked questions during class time. However, if a child is not comfortable sharing they will not be forced. As an early childhood educator I understand that students will share when they are ready!

Coloring/worksheets for each week will be posted to the classroom tab at 7PM (MST) the Sunday prior to class.

*Please note that while the minimum number of students for this class is 3, we will be happy to teach it with 1 student as we wait for others to join. When we are below minimum class may be closer to 22-25 minutes.
