In this class students will learn the beginning phonetic sounds of the alphabet to prepare them to read. The letter sounds that will be taught are B, F, M, K, R, T, P, J, H, S, N, D, C, L, G, W, Y, V, Z, Q, X. Students will complete activities in class with teacher using screen sharing and annotating on the screen to help show the teacher what the student is understanding. Also we will be using interactive games sites like: nearpod.com, kahoot, blooket, and gimkit to help students practice the letters sounds learned in that class.  A link and code to join the game will be provided in class. Nearpod.com is an approved source for teachers/students to us in outschool classes. 
Parents are encouraged to be nearby for help with their student as needed.
