Math can be tricky for learners. My 1:1 math tutoring classes are designed to support the learner's needs and preferences. Since this is a 1:1 class, concepts listed below are examples of what can be taught and concepts taught are based on the learners' areas they need support in.

Does your learner enjoy learning through games? Game-based instruction will be incorporated into our sessions. 

Classes will start with a spiral review of a topic taught in a previous session, then we will move into the concept for the week. 

Sample concepts for Kindergarten include: 
• adding and subtracting through 10
• matching pictures to written numbers through 10 (1:1 Correspondence)

Sample concepts for 1st Grade include:
• word problems 
• place value 

Sample concepts for 2nd Grade include:
• telling time
• adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers
