In kindergarten math, students learn to represent and compare whole numbers, describe shapes and space, and develop foundational skills in addition and subtraction, including counting to 20, writing numbers from 0 to 20, and comparing quantities. [1, 2, 3] Here's a more detailed breakdown of the key areas of kindergarten math standards: 1. Counting and Cardinality: [2, 3] • Counting: Count to 100 by ones and tens. [2, 3] • Number Representation: Represent numbers from 0 to 20 with objects and numerals. [1, 2] • Comparing Quantities: Compare two or more sets of objects (up to ten objects in each group) and identify which set is equal to, more than, or less than the other. [4] • Counting: Count to answer "how many?" questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects. [5]

Necesidades de aprendizaje
This class is great for kids with language delays like kids with Autism. It is also good for kids with other learning disabilities and can be older than 10 if they are struggling with math in middle school because they can just be stuck

I have journalism training from my time spent at SFSU from 1991 to 1994, and passed Leonard Sellers’ News Writing class, Editing and Media Law, and a have a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. I also have a Master's in Science in Special Populations(K-12) with a Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential, a K-8 Multiple Subjects Credential and TEFL.
I recently completed 25 years in the public school system as a pre-k-12 credentialed teacher in many different school options, NPS, districts, and charter schools. I also have experience working with students in diverse socioeconomic populations, such as Cupertino, California Virtual Academy, MDUSD, Walnut Creek, Oakland, Richmond, Lafayette, and Orinda, and have observed many problems in the State, including in education, free-speech issues, and bad medical and legal malpractices nationwide.
I just completed my Hubspot AI Digital Marketing Certificate, Hubspot’s AI Business Tools Certificate, and a Data Analysis Certificate from Calbright College. These certificates reinforced my soft skills, such as communication, and they also taught me better presentation skills, data validation, visualization, SQL, and Google Sheets.
I have my Substack blog to discuss these issues and just finished my math curriculum, Connected Blocks, which was sold on Teacher’s Pay Teacher. I have used AI tools to create a plan and content using Canva and HeyGen to replicate myself to develop videos for YouTube, Facebook, PInterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Substock for my product and content for my blog, which has interrelated ideas about problems with education in the state.
After seeing kids with language delays, including one I worked with for seven years who was adopted from China and struggled with primary math concepts, I developed my own. My student was successful and could move on to pre-algebra and geometry. I also worked as a private education specialist for seven years, working with one student with no primary language skills. I tried every math program and could not find one she could be successful with, so I combined MathUSee blocks with online video games she loved because they were fun, interactive, and patient.
I did not know the word for cell phone when I went to college, and I have always seen how technology is fantastic for education. No one learned anything with boring offline textbooks. With these same AI and technology tools, we could teach ALL kids to learn, including those with disabilities and English learners. We have so many ideas in education that need to be updated. If we look at this reality, thinking kids in moderate to severe SDC can’t be educated. We still don’t know what tools will be built. I am not sure everyone should be able to use this technology through 12th-grade graduation, but I will not punish them if they are not perfect just yet.
