Welcome to our Online Book Club, tailored specifically for students with diverse learning needs! This virtual space is designed to foster a love for reading while providing a supportive and inclusive environment where every participant can thrive. This 1:1 book club allows for a safe and individualized learning environment. Your child will be thoughtfully guided into their summer reading requirement. The book club meetings provide a structured yet supportive environment where your child can share their thoughts, ask questions, and explore the text's themes. Recognizing that students may require additional time or support to engage with the material, our book club offers a flexible reading pace. Participants are encouraged to read at their own speed, with resources and accommodations available to support comprehension and retention. In addition, beyond traditional book discussions, this club incorporates interactive activities and engagement opportunities to enhance comprehension and deepen understanding. From virtual field trips to multimedia presentations, we strive to make the reading experience dynamic and engaging for all participants. If your child is struggling to find a book they want to read, I will dedicate the first session to exploring possibilities tailored to their interests. If you're looking for a welcoming and supportive experience, offered by qualified learning specialist and certified Orton-Gillingham classroom teacher, I invite you to join our Online Book Club for Students with Learning Differences.
