In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to solve quadratic equations either using square roots, factoring, completing the square or the quadratic formula depending on learner preference and need. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using prime factorization to simplify radicals to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of substitution, squaring numbers, finding square roots, and numerical operations before attending this class.
