In this course, students will be given guided practice problems involving equations and functions typically taught in eighth grade. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Learners can also bring homework or assignments from school or other classes that involve linear equations and functions to work on together. Concepts and skills can include any of the following: •Solving Multi-Step Variable Equations •Solving Equations with Variables on Both Sides •Functions on Graphs and Tables •Evaluating and Writing Functions Please schedule sessions carefully, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.
