Please message me for availability and schedule! In this ongoing semester-long reading and writing course, students will be able to practice, improve, and learn reading comprehension skills, vocabulary, constructed responses, editing essays, grammar, and other language arts skills. Students start by taking a diagnostic assignment that measures their current reading and writing levels. From there, each student received an individualized curriculum to both nurture and improve their current skills. I am both Wilson Reading and AP Language trained and able to assist multiple levels of students including special education. Topics may include (but are not limited to): - Increasing vocabulary - Reading comprehension - Annotating the text - Constructed responses - Thesis statements - Pronunciation and diction - Literary Devices Topics can also be tailored to the current school curriculum.
