Nivel Beginner - Advanced

-This one-on-one tutoring class will be completely differentiated to for your child's needs. A short assessment will be given at the beginning of the class, then the class will be tailored directly to meet your child's individual needs. As a special educator of 9 years, I've mastered the art in differentiating instruction, which will be a great asset to help your child learn! 

-I do not believe it's appropriate for students to sit for more than 10-15 minutes at a time, therefore your child will be up and moving, dancing, singing and much more to show their learning. I also believe students will only learn from people they are truly comfortable with, therefore it is very important to me to get a couple minutes to get to know your child and their interests to help them become comfortable before diving right into the academics. 

-This class will go over phonological awareness, letter names, letter sounds, phonics, decoding, encoding, CVC words, reading fluency and more, depending on your child's individual needs. 

-Students will be able to interact through games, slides, video clips and discussion.

As a special educator of 9 years, I have experience in teaching students with a wide range of needs, whether that be ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, etc. The instruction will be based on your child's individual needs, no matter what their level.

As a special education teacher of 9+ years I have a lot of experience with teaching early literacy skills to a wide-range of learners in the public school setting. I have mastered the art in differentiating instruction, not only day-by-day, but minute-by-minute to meet the needs of the child I'm working with.

I am trained to work with students who have ADHD, ADD, Autism, Dyslexia, and more. I have many tools to create engagement and keep children focused on their learning and I love to incorporate fun and exciting games/songs and dances to help children remember the information being taught.
