Intervención 1:1 para discalculia y matemáticas: hacer que las matemáticas sean accesibles para todos

This weekly intervention time will be adapted to meet the needs of each individual student. The StrongMinds methods are made to be effective by meeting the student where they are at, identifying their individual needs, and putting together a program that will provide the maximum growth.  StrongMinds teachers provide 1:1 online tutoring services to children PreK-6th grade who need support or enrichment in literacy. Our individual lessons are engaging, multi-sensory, effective, and fun! 

 Upon registration we will reach out to you to determine your personal goals for your math intervention. The first session will be very much assessment focused. Your teacher will look to identify any gaps in your child's learning that need to be addressed. We will share with your your child's individual strengths and weaknesses.  Students will be guided to understand why math mathematical concepts work, and not just how to get the correct answers. If math is not currently your child's favorite subject, after spending time with Teacher Melissa it very well may be!

You can easily sign up for 2, 3, or, 4 days a week, by communicating with teacher Maggie that you would like a custom section. The first one or two sessions will be utilized to get to know your child's individual strengths and weaknesses. A complete personalized math assessment will be administered to target exactly what they need to work on during these sessions. These individual tutoring sessions will be specifically designed to meet the needs of your learner. Students will be continually assessed to insure each lesson is targeted towards their own area of need.
