I am offering tutoring sessions for students who are struggling in middle and high school math. This includes 5th - 8th grade and Pre-Algebra.  I help students build their confidence by giving them tips and strategies for solving various math problems.  I find that students sometimes lack confidence, which is the primary reason they are not successful.  My greatest joy in doing this is when the students have a “oohh I get it now” moment!  I truly believe that everyone can be successful in math; they just need some extra support.

I will work the problems that students bring from class with the best and most understandable way to solve them with opportunities to ask any questions they have throughout the process.  I also will have example problems that will help students gain confidence as they are presented with various issues and find they can solve these on their own.  I will be there to assist and answer any questions students have while working any of the math problems.
