Key Features:
🎉 Engaging lessons taught in Russian, sprinkled with just the right amount of English for clarity and classroom management. (50/50)
🧒 Tailored for middle school and high school students with little to no Russian language knowledge, intermediate knowledge and advanced learners. 
🌍 An exploration of key topics each week, building a solid foundation while making language learning a thrill. Student can indicate the topic they want to work on and we will cover it in the lesson!
📆 Schedule: We meet as per request for 50minute session (if you want to have a longer session or shorter please enquire) 


TOPICS covered (suggestions):
1. Beginner: Alphabet, Basic greetings, numbers, days of the week, simple present tense, talking about family members, school supplies, simple description of people, telling time
2. Intermediate: taking about family relations, food, places, near future tense, past tense of regular verbs, past tense of irregular verbs, future tense
3. Advanced: environment, social problems, Russian history (Katherine the Great, USSR etc.), analysing books (The Queen of Spades, Woe from Wit - Герое от ума etc.), analysing movies (Утомлённые солнцем - Burnt by the soon, Левиафан - Leviathan etc.), introduction to причастие и деепричастие - participles, idiomatic expressions, nuanced grammar.


STRUCTURE: 
1. Review the student material. I recommend sending it at least one day in advance to save time on the lesson. I will give feedback on the work and address misconceptions.
2. Answer the students’ questions, concerns, or confusion, ensuring the concept is fully understood. 
3. Assist the student in completing the assignment, proofreading, or correcting it when needed. If applicable, we will also develop strategies and provide resources for studying for an upcoming exam. 
4. We will wrap up with an activity to solidify the concept. I will quiz and correct the student based on a study guide when applicable.

🪄 I personally create ALL resources that are used in the class! I will occasionally use textbook as inspiration for homework.
