Because the focus in this class is only on your child and their needs and abilities, it is perfect for the child who feels lost in the group circle time of a traditional classroom. Students will also learn how to express ideas using descriptive words and how to ask and answer questions in a comfortable, supportive environment.
I am a certified early childhood teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching preschool and kindergarten. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia University and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I also received the Teacher of the Year Award for my work with young students. I specialize in private tutoring and working with the individual child to help them to learn and grow.
Students may bring a favorite item to talk about during our Show and Tell time in each class. This can be a toy, book, or anything your child wants to show and describe!
