Get $5 off your first class with coupon code ANANEW55 No experience necessary! Join at any time 😊 In this fun and interactive digital art club, we will look at all the different tools Procreate offers! Such as Layers, layer modes, lasso/selection, direct select, grid and animation assist, brush libraries and custom brushes, saving files and GIFs, and more! We will create something new each week, and students are encouraged to add unique touches to their artwork. This class focuses on progress; some lessons might not have a “finished artwork.” Students will utilize the tools learned in class to continue developing their pieces. We will also examine art concepts such as composition, color theory, light, shadow, and value. This is an ongoing class that continues throughout the year. Each class will be catered to the student, and we will discuss their individual learning outcome. NOTE: there may be some weeks *off* throughout the year. Throughout the year, students can request specific topics on what they want to draw. At the beginning of each class, we will share what we worked on during the week since the last meeting! The subject matter can be changed according to students' requests. I want to know what they enjoy drawing and their likes and dislikes. This will create a self-directed environment. August: -Bobba tea artwork -camping scene -Waterfalls -Pokemon or character GIF

Happy you are here! this is my biography:
Hello! My name is Ana, but my students call me Ms. Ana. I am a practicing artist by day and an Art teacher by night!
In 2012, I worked as a Daycare Assistant at the Royal Daycare & Learning Centre in Mississauga, ON. I cared for large groups of children with fun-directed activities, including nature walks, arts and crafts, and snack time.
I have been the Art Teacher at Canadas School of Music and Arts in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, since 2016. I teach Kinder Arts classes for ages 4 to 6, Art fundamentals for ages 6 to 13, and private lessons for any age group. I am responsible for creating lessons and curricula and helping students develop their artistic skills by drawing, painting, and sketching. I am proud of making monthly themed lesson plans for my students, in which we explore different mediums, such as; acrylic paint, watercolor paint, pastels, and pencil crayons.
My teaching philosophy is based on finding your confidence as a growing artist. Through constructive criticism and confidence building, anyone can learn!
Some fun facts about me:
-I am fluent in Spanish
-I have a big white dog that I love dearly
-My favorite food is Indian and Greek
-I love video games and Pokémon
