This ongoing tutorial is for anyone who wants to work one-on-one with an award-winning novelist with a passion for literature that exists at the intersection of art and activism.

This course is designed to help your student workshop a single creative piece. I have published two novels, along with multiple pieces of short fiction, essays, creative nonfiction, and travel writing, and I’m willing to work with your student on any of those forms. Your student will set the agenda based on their goals, and I’ll use my expertise and the resources at my disposal to guide them toward realizing their goals.

This tutorial is open-ended and will continue for as long as your student wishes to continue working together. 

We will meet weekly for 30 minutes. During our sessions, I will provide detailed feedback on the work your student has submitted, and/or answer any specific questions they have about their writing. At the end of each session, we will create an action plan for the next steps your student will take to continue improving their work.
