This class is designed for students who want additional tutoring in developing thesis statements, essay writing, 1-1 writing feedback, editing and revising, and more! Sessions can be requested by students at any time; please just contact me so that we can work on creating a private session just for your student to get the one-on-one help they want and need! This class is perfect for students who have a paper they are working on and need support developing their statements or writing essays....

Frecuencia: incluidoComentario: incluidoDetalles: Many students come to class looking for different skills to work on outside of normal school hours. I do offer these in tutoring sessions and the amount can vary depending on what what we decide on together.Calificación
Frecuencia: incluidoDetalles: Students will have the opportunity to receive a grade in the form of their choosing.I am happy to provide a grade in the form of a percentage, letter, or both. I can also offer a formal letter for submission to state programs. I ask students throughout the semester about their needs for grading and am happy to work with parents to create a plan that meets their needs! Please note that Grading is NOT required.
If possible, I ask that students send their writing to me before class in the form of an editable link or a Microsoft Word document. In the event that work is not sent before class starts, I will need to read the essay in class which may take away from some of our editing and revising time. If the student is able to send work early, I will also work with the parent to provide a list of expected/requested feedback. I may ask the following questions to get a sense of what the student needs:
- What are your students' needs?
- What type of feedback or revisions are you looking for?
