Oh no!! The elves in the North Pole have caught the Zombie Virus, which is transferred by the snow from the reindeer! The Shaman has been drawing up a list of the possible cures for the virus, but he needs our Math Detectives help to choose the correct cure!! In this super fun mystery, students will solve the clues and eliminate cures on the possible cure list until only one remains. This fun detective story has students read simple words and phrases to match information given with the cures...
Student will review and practice: -Adding ten to double & triple-digit numbers -Subtracting ten from double & triple-digit numbers -Missing Addends -Missing Subtrahends - Addition and Subtraction with some regrouping (double-digit numbers) -Mental Math (Double-digit addition and subtraction)
Students will need: -pencil and paper OR dry erase board and marker to work out problems
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
