No dance experience needed. Everyone participates at their own level. Learn moves from all different dance styles to music from around the world. Fitness moves are incorporated into the choreography. Creativity is welcome as we end each class with a make-up your own move dance-party style fun! Get ready for multicultural, energetic fun!
Learning Goals
Students will learn fun, safe and effective ways to move their body for a great cardio workout. Learners will explore dance styles from around the world as well as elements of modern dance, jazz, hip hop and lyrical. Music is a mix of pop songs, movie soundtracks and music from around the world.

Supply List
Learners are welcome to dance barefoot, with dance shoes or with sneakers. No open-toed sandals, socks only or flip-flops please!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Trained in ballet and Pilates, I believe movement is inherent in all of us and is centered around a profound mind-body-core connection. Dancing is a natural cardio workout that improves balance, stamina, coordination and strength. Pilates will engage your core for fundamental posture stability as well as improve performance for other athletic training.
