Class Experience

🎄🎉 Join the Christmas Fun with the 2nd Annual Zumba Kids Christmas Club! 🎉🎄

This Zumba class is specifically designed for children, aiming to provide a fun and energetic workout experience from start to finish this Christmas season! This class incorporates lively Christmas music, fun dance moves, and aerobic exercises to promote physical fitness and a love for getting active. This class is perfect for beginners and no prior dance or workout experience is required.

Each class will start with some social time and a warm-up song followed by a dance till' we drop amazing time together! There will be choreography as well as moments of freestyle. We have no rules about dancing in this club and doing my moves is a totally optional thing! I love when they bust out their own favorite moves! Jump in any week because Zumba is a learn as you go experience and every class will be the best time to start! Class will be learner led based on their song choices (of course I will always have tons of Christmas themed options ready to go!). We will always finish with a slow cool-down song and a fun holiday game (and big high fives!).

Songs will include (as well as kiddo requests!): Jingle Bell Rock, All I Want For Christmas Is You, Rockin Around the Christmas Tree, Run Run Rudolph, Santa Clause is Coming to Town, Last Christmas, Merry Christmas Everyone. Each week, after class, kiddos will also receive a video of one of the songs where they can practice the choreography and teach it to family and friends for more fun at home!

Specific Benefits of the Zumba Kids! Program:

💪 Physical Fitness: Zumba Kids! provides a fun and engaging way for children to stay active and improve their physical fitness. The program incorporates dance movements and aerobic exercises that help to increase cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility.

🤸 Coordination and Motor Skills: Zumba Kids! focuses on improving coordination, balance, and motor skills through rhythmic movements and dance routines. Children learn to synchronize their movements with the music, enhancing their overall coordination and body awareness.

🌟 Boosts Confidence and Self-esteem: Participating in Zumba Kids! allows children to express themselves through dance and movement. As they learn new steps and routines, they gain confidence in their abilities, which can positively impact their self-esteem and self-image.

🤗 Social Interaction: Zumba Kids! classes provide a social environment where children can interact with their peers. This promotes teamwork, cooperation, and the development of social skills. It also offers an opportunity for children to make new friends and build relationships.

🧠 Cognitive Development: Zumba Kids! incorporates elements of music, rhythm, and memorization. This stimulates cognitive development, as children learn to follow instructions, remember dance sequences, and coordinate their movements with the beat of the music.

🌞 Stress Relief and Emotional Well-being: Dancing and physical activity release endorphins, which are known to improve mood and reduce stress. Zumba Kids! allows children to have fun, let loose, and release energy, promoting emotional well-being and a positive mindset.

🌍 Cultural Awareness: Zumba Kids! exposes children to various styles of music and dance from different cultures around the world. This helps broaden their cultural awareness and appreciation for diversity.
