A bit about the artistic side of me: I enjoy drawing and have practiced on my own or in drawing classes at my local university and art gallery. I like playing with 'Zen Tangle' techniques for creating abstract patterns with black pen and ink. I also studied Japanese calligraphy while teaching in Japan. I add my own illustrations to worksheets when I teach classes and have made countless drawings for my kids! My favorite drawing tools are black ink on thick paper or ipencil in Linea. I also like watercolor paints.
Students are asked to finish the realistic part of your drawing before the second class.
-paper (thick white paper will work best) -pencil, eraser, black fine tipped pen -pencil crayons -a pair of footwear to bring to class to sketch
