Kids are absolutely fascinated with hedgehogs. In this class we will meet two live hedgehogs and learn about their diets, habitats and survival skills. There will be a hedgehog craft at the end of class.
Class experience
From their long nose, pudgy bodies and incredible quills hedgehogs are indeed unique and interesting little animals. This class will feature two live hedgehogs name Maybelline and Miss Huffenstuff. This class will focus on learning more about their quills, what they are made of and why they have them. After this class students will know where hedgehogs come from, the different species and colorations, what they eat, how they survive and what their quills are actually made of.
If you would like to participate in the craft you will need a paper plate, scissors, black crayon and pink crayon.
