Introduction to Basic Horse Care
Class experience
Students with little to no experience in caring for horses will find this class useful in preparation for caring for their first horse, or deciding if they're ready to make that commitment. We will discuss the importance of dietary needs, routine care, maintenance, and what a horse’s living quarters should look like to keep them happy, healthy and safe. Students will also examine tools and tack involved in routine care discussed, as well as housing set ups. Slides will be shown to illustrate...
Students will have the option to use the "annotate" feature in order to type on the screen through zoom at the end of class but it is not required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Hello, my name is Kat. As a student, the most memorable classes in school were the ones my teachers were passionate about teaching. When I teach, I can't help but be passionate because I get to integrate my real life experiences with each lesson....
