Class Experience
Zookeeper Training Course (ages 8-12) During this class, students will learn what a typical day in the life of a zookeeper is like. We will discuss the different animals that live in the zoo, what each of those animals is fed each day, the responsibilities the zookeeper has for caring and maintaining a safe and clean environment for the animals and how zookeepers educate visitors about the creatures and their natural habitats. As the teacher, I will take the students on a guided "virtual" zoo...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
