US Grade Kindergarten - 2
This is a fun and creative class. I will read my book, Zoe's Zoo, a book about a girl who loves animals and dreams of working with them. Each student will get a FREE copy of my book through my website; it includes a special poster for an imaginary zoo trip! During the class we will explore some animals together, learn fun facts about their habitats and needs. Next, we will get creative by drawing pictures of these animals and imagine what we will included in our imaginary zoo trip. Student will get a guided walk through of the imaginary zoo trip poster. Student's will use their artwork on their own poster once it arrives.
Learning Goals
Students will learn facts about animals and their habitats, discovering how they adapt to their environments.
Students will learn practical ways people can help protect and care for animals in the wild.
