Students will gain a better understanding of multiplication and learn how to solve multiplication problems and word problems using different strategies.
On the days we are not in class, students will answer questions and continue a discussion held in the classroom as well as complete a short assignment that goes along with the previous lesson. (Two questions and two assignments will be given weekly)
3 files available upon enrollmentStudents will print a booklet. Students will complete this booklet throughout the class. Some pages we will complete in class and some pages will be completed as their assignment on days we do not meet. M&Ms or another small candy or object about the same size.(raisins, chocolate chips, marshmallows, beans, cheerios...) We will use these throughout the course. I suggest putting some in a bag or a container that can be accessed easily. Paper and pencil or a whitboard.
