Class Experience

During this class we start off with a warm-up and we will stretch our bodies. We will also do some cardio exercises and learn some hip hop moves for about 15 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat Zombies Valentines song. (Approximately 30 -35 minutes) During class we will take a couple breaks to insure that the children are able to give their muscles a rest that include about 10 minutes to make a Zombies Valentines Day Card! Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!

I have been teaching for 20 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

No homework is assigned but practice is encouraged!

We will be making Zombies Valentine cards. Bring attachments or bring your own paper. You will also want to bring any decorations like stickers, glitter glue etc. Scissors.

Encouragement and feedback will be given throughout the class.

55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
