This learner-directed club is geared towards communication, strategizing, working together and building friendships in the classic Call of Duty game, Cold War/Zombies. In this competitive game on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC, learners will get the opportunity to work together to survive in an immersive world full of action. This multiplayer style game has us work as a team fighting hordes of zombies in various worlds through many levels. We will strategically focus on outlasting the zombies and completing missions while trying to reach our overall best team goals as well as individual goals. We will also be going over load out customization, daily goal challenges, and stat building. Learners will be encouraged to come up with weekly goals and to share their progress in the group. Week 1- Survey Map, Team building, Communication exercise Week 2- Loadout Customization/Leader Building Week 3- Loadout switch Week 4- Outlast 20 levels This is a challenging game that is played on an open server with other players at various levels. This game is rated M for mature. It depicts war and violence and should be reviewed before signing up for this class. You will need an active Activision account set up before taking this class.

Hello, My name is Jared and I am a professional Audio Engineer, Musician, and Producer located in Nashville, TN. I have 15 years of recording experience and I am a graduate from The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. I have had the pleasure of working with some of the best audio engineers in the music business and have recorded and produced hundreds of songs. I have also worked for Billboard Music as a freelance engineer and I have trained others in the field of audio engineering.
My goal as an Outschool teacher is to provide a wonderful learning experience for students who are just starting out with recording their own music or wanting to play the guitar. As a musician myself, I started as a teenager recording my acoustic guitar and songs in my bedroom for hours. It led me down a wonderful and exciting career path with lots of avenues and possibilities. I aim to share my knowledge and experiences with these young and aspiring musicians, engineers, and producers as I would have loved an educational experience like this when I was first starting out.
When I am not working on music I have a passion for video games. I look forward to creating classes and social groups dedicated to developing skills through gaming and socializing with like-minded peers.
I live with my wife, son, daughter and small dog, Walt.
