Zombies Group Singing Lesson- Halloween Sing-A-Long

In this musical theater workshop students will learn a brief overview of the basics of how to be a star singer. In the beginning of the class I will teach the students how to warm up their voices properly and coach students in a few singing techniques.  Some examples are: proper chin position, the different voice registers, an explanation of lip trills and humming. I will demonstrate each step and students will mirror me (if they are able). Slides will be used. Learning how to sing properly allows singers of all styles of music to perform well without fatigue or damage to the voice.

We will then apply what we learned by singing along to various hit Zombies songs, including but not limited to: Flesh and Bones, Someday, Like the Zombies Do, Alien Invasion, Call to the Wild and We Own the Night!

Students will be given the opportunity to sing solos. Students will have to sing with mute on during group sing due to the limitations of the zoom platform.
