Students will be given a brief lesson on Hip Hop dance and history at the beginning of each class with new facts weekly. We’ll talk about how and where Hip Hop started and some of the important pioneers of Hip Hop Dance. The movement portion of class will begin with a warm up then straight into learning choreography for our Zombie dance.
Students should come away with a good understanding of Hip Hop, how it started as well as learning an entire hip hop dance.
I have 22 years of dance teaching experience and an extensive knowledge of the history of dance.
Students should be willing to review and practice choreography between meetings.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
