Students learn about evolution as they take a virtual trip to the Greater Antilles Islands to study anolis lizards. They observe how these lizards live, how different species are related, and compare DNA samples. This is a thought-provoking and interactive class where students work together to analyze data, make hypotheses, and draw conclusions. Among other interesting topics, students will learn: -what islands make up the Greater Antilles group -how to read a cladogram (a diagram showing evolutionary relationships) -how DNA samples and other data tell us how animals are related
