Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn they can create art even if they think they can't draw!
I have created and taught many classes across many subjects for homeschoolers for 14+ years. I enjoy teaching STEM, history, and cross-curricular classes and am passionate about making classes engaging. I have a bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master's in Education. Before my move to education, I was a software engineer, and in my spare time, I Zentanlge and draw mandalas. I have been creating Zentangle-inspired art and drawing mandalas for over 12 years.
There will be optional exercises to complete outside of class.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
- Students will be provided with several files throughout this course. Some will need to be printed before class. - Extra paper, clipboard, cardstock, etc., to place under printouts so pen ink won't bleed through. - Pencil - Fine tip Black pen (possibilities: Sharpie ultra fine tip, sizes 05-08 Micron pen) - A regular black sharpie is recommended but not required
