Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Social Club
Class experience
This course is a social club for students to meet new friends virtually and talk about video games together. I found that in teaching my other video game course (“Video Game Music”), students love to have a social space where they can just talk with each other about what they love. I am a state certified, highly qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education (Michigan State University, B.A.) and a Master’s degree in Music Composition (Wayne State University). I have taught elementary and middle school music in the Michigan Public Schools for 10 years. I have done extensive scholarly research into video game music and have presented on this topic at several graduate music conferences (U of Toronto, U of Kansas City-Lawrence, etc).
No supplies or resources needed, except maybe your Nintendo Switch and any Zelda memorabilia!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Note: I am currently stepping away from teaching large Outschool classes, but I am open to teach private music lessons. I am especially adept working with students interested in video game music and digital audio music. Feel free to send me a...
