Learners will learn about J.S. Bach's life and the Baroque era in music through class lecture, listen to some of his popular compositions as a class, and participate in class discussion where we will talk about what we like and do not like about the pieces. Learners will be provided with a coloring page and additional activities to work on during class. In addition to learning about music, this class will help young learners develop important classroom skills, such as: attention span, active listening, and digital classroom etiquette. 

I am a classically trained musician with more than 10 years of music education experience. I love working with learners of all ages and enjoy teaching music listening, music appreciation, and music history. This course is unique in that combines all three of my passions into one class! I am also excited to help young learners develop skills such as active listening and digital classroom etiquette while participating in a fun and engaging class. 

No formal homework will be assigned.
