In this one-time class inspired by my most popular ongoing class, learners will be exposed to music written by J.S. Bach. They will learn about J.S. Bach's life and the Baroque era in music through class lecture, listen to some of his popular compositions as a class, and participate in class discussion where we will talk about what we like and do not like about the pieces. Learners will be provided with a coloring page and additional activities to work on during class. In addition to learning about music, this class will help young learners develop important classroom skills, such as: attention span, active listening, and digital classroom etiquette. All materials will be available in the classroom prior to our class. Please print them and provide your learners will coloring tools so they can color their picture during class and share with their classmates afterwards!
