Description
Class Experience
Leaners will be able use 3 key steps that are applicable to any drawing. 1. Pinpointing light and shadow 2. Identifying shapes 3. Shading the drawing
I graduated from Grand Central Atelier in New York City where I was trained to draw and paint realistically in a traditional way. While I usually draw realistically, I also enjoy using this approach to draw in different styles. My goal is to teach children the tools of drawing and give them the opportunity to practice applying them so that they will be able to draw what they want independently.
Learners may need to complete their drawings at home. I know I always needed more time! Questions and critiques are welcome after class finishes through the Outschool messaging system. Optional: Learners are encouraged to practice using the steps that they learned to any drawing at home!
