Students will improve their understanding and use of ordinal number positions. They will also gain experience with working in an online classroom.
I have been teaching young students for 17 years. I have a B.A and a M.S. in elementary education and am currently homeschooling my own five children. I enjoy the fun and laughter learning can create and strive to develop classes that involve movement and interaction. I have experience working with all types of learning abilities and personalities, even in the online world!
Students are asked to show and tell their family what they learned!
Students are not required to bring anything to class, however, if a student wishes to bring five objects to share, we will take the time to discuss these objects in ordinal terms. For example, students can bring five different matchbox cars, crayons, stuffed animals, books. The ideas are limitless! Just be sure they are five, easily handled objects that the student can place in a line for class!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be asked a variety of engaging questions throughout the class in order to assess their understanding individually.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
