In this multi-day class, students will learn how to sound out the letters of the Tagalog(Filipino) alphabet, correct pronunciation of the words and writing. Identify the name of colors and shapes, and learn to count the numbers 1-10 in Tagalog.

Class Experience

I was born and raised in the Philippines. I am multilingual, I speak Filipino language "Tagalog" as my first language/native tongue and second English.  I have a degree in Bachelor Science in Education and have taught 16 years in the Philippine high school ( Tagalog and English ).
Materials 1. One page handouts on the last day of second week will be provided (Abakada) 2. Day 1, Materials Pencil/Marker Copy paper (white) Coloring (crayons, coloring pens, coloring pencil) .
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.

Parents, I am using google slides and jamboard for the lesson/activities and video clips from youtube for goodbye song. Learners are not required to create an account. I will do screen sharing.
