Class Experience

Some cells in the human body have some fundamental differences with other cells. These differences enable them to perform extreme or unusual functions.

Did you know that:
Some cells in your body explode?
Some cells conduct electricity like electrical cables?
Some cells do not have nucleus?
Do you want to know more? Join me on a tour of the extreme or unusual cells in the human body.

I will provide a guide with information about these extreme or unusual cells. We will see figures of these cells while I explain their function and why they are considered extreme cells. Students should be able to follow the explanation with the guide and they are encouraged to take notes.
Then students will complete a class activity to apply what they have learned in this class.
