Students will learn about the eagle family. The different types of eagles and how they are similar and different. Materials, which may include some photos or videos, will be posted. I will share pictures of eagles. I will have links of videos available. Some of the discussion will will center on the following. Although I will have material to present, it will be centered around discussion. 1. The types of eagles. 2. What is the distinguishing characteristics of eagle. How are they different from from other raptors. 3. Where do they live, does it migrate and if so where does it go. 4. A pictures and videos of the eagles, can include several showing the difference if adult, juvenile, breeding, male/female 5. What does it eat. 6. What type of habitat does it live in. 7. Is it endangered, what threats to the species are there.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about eagles, their habitat, what they eat, what is their physical characteristics and other important information.
