This class is designed to encourage a healthy appreciation for food, how our bodies digest it, the nutrients we get from each type, how we store extra and how we get rid of waste! The third week will help to foster a love for exercise at a young age by explaining the numerous benefits that exercise brings to the mind and body. As a family doctor I encourage a healthy lifestyle and an all round appreciation for food! I encourage my patients to understand what each food type can do for them and how to get the same nutrients from different types of food and how our bodies digest and use the food. I find that this encourages a healthy lifestyle! I hope from this class to do the same for children to encourage a healthy appreciation for food from a young age and to foster a passion for exercise and all its benefits!
