Description
Class Experience
In this class we want to teach these young chefs how to make eight of our favorite soups. Twice each week we will be sharing a recipe and video tutorial for a fabulious soup recipe. Students will follow the videos and recipe directions to make their own soup and share the results with the class through comments and photos. Full recipe lists will be provided each Friday for the following week. Common ingredients include: chicken or beef rice potatoes milk salt & pepper herbs flour Kitchen tool lists also very by week but common items needed are: Soup pot Sharp knife/Cutting board Mixing bowl Rubber spatula Soup ladel
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Parents should be aware that we will be using the stove, knives, and other kitchen tools that may require adult supervision.
