Yumm! - Baking Basics: Pumpkin Pie
Class experience
In this class we will be learning to make our very first pumpkin pie. We'll begin with a never fail pie crust. Next we will make a pumpkin pie filling using canned plain pumpkin (other canned squash varieties can also be used). Before class is over the pie will be in the oven. We will finish up class discussing how to tell if the pie is done, how to safely remove the pie from the oven, and cleaning up our mess. We hope students will invite their families to share their pie after it is...
I have been baking for over 20 years and have won multiple compitions for baked goods.
Homework Offered
You will need to listen for the timer after class and remove your pie from the oven. Once it has cooled we'd love if you could share a photo of you (and your family) enjoying the treat so we can see the amazing results.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
